Trip to Collins Barracks & the 1916...

Ms Murray’s 4th class went on a trip to see the 1916 garrisons. We went to Collins Barracks first. We saw the Proclamation and heard it being read it out and we saw the ripped up Irish flag. We had a little picnic out on the grass. We got a bus, we parked it and started to walk to the GPO. On our way there we saw the Rosie Hackett Bridge. We got to the GPO and we saw some bullet holes in the pillars holding up the GPO. We saw photos of the seven men who signed the Proclamation. There were pictures nearly everywhere. On Thursday the 12th of March 2015 Ms Nestor’s fifth class went to see and go to the Jeanie Johnston because we won the line up twice in a row. We got there at 11:00 on our school bus and the bus driver was Joanne. The Jeanie Johnston is in the River Liffey in town. When we got there our tour lady was Laura and she brought us on to the ship. She told us the ship was used to transport people to Quebec in Canada, England and America. She also told us the Jeanie Johnston was built in 1847. Our Trip to Airfield Farm

On Thursday morning last we went to Airfield Farm with Ms.Gleeson,Ms.Lawlor and Mr. Cassidy.Mr.McClure came too. We went on Louise’s bus.When we arrived Damien showed us around the farm.First we saw the jersey cows being milked by the farmer.After that we went to feed the calves.We saw the piglets being fed by their mammy. Engineer’s Week

On Thursday February 13th Ms Purcell’s, Mr Diver’s, my class, Ms Phelan and Ms Joyce went to Tallaght library to take part in a K’Nex challenge. We left at 9:30a.m. When we got to the library we took our hats, scarves, coats and gloves off. We were split into two groups. Ms Purcell’s class and half of our class went first for the K’Nex challenge while the rest of us chilled out in the library for an hour.
