Third class santa hats

All the parents came to the class room. Then we started to make our hats. We used all different types of materials. There was tinsel, scissors, plastic bows and it was sticky. Everyone had great ideas. People used scissors and glue to cut and stick things onto our hats. After, when we were done we got to design a Santa hat. After that the parents went home. I Am The Number One

On Wednesday the 21st of December all of the school gathered in the hall to watch the Fifth Class play and the raffle. Every year we do a raffle but this year was different because the Fifth Class play was before it. The play was called “I AM THE NUMBER ONE”. There was also dancers this year. They were amazing. Christmas Hats

On Friday the 16th of December all of Third Class made Christmas hats with our family. Lots of mams, dads and sisters came to help us out.   There was elf hats and Santa hats. There was lots of decorations and glitter. There was reindeer, fir trees and snowmen to decorate. We got lots of glitter on us. Christmas with Difi

As part of the Erasmus Plus project, 5thclass were asked to show children in Denmark, Finland and Italy how we celebrate Christmas in Ireland. We decided to do a PowerPoint presentation to do this. We used DIFI to help us. We created the PowerPoint using pictures, text, video and voice recordings. We took pictures of DIFI and included them in the PowerPoint. Christmas Cooking

The final session of our Christmas cooking course took place this week. The morning was spent making very tasty scones. These ranged from tomato scones and cheese scones to the more traditional plain scone. They turned out lovely. The parents also made traditional brown bread. There was a beautiful smell of fresh baking coming from the kitchen all morning. A lot of time was also spent putting the final touches to the Christmas Cakes which were prepared over the previous couple of weeks.
