Ms Canavan’s 5th class decided to do the gruffalo play in their Gaeilge lesson. Each pupil got a part in the An Garbhán play. Each pupil decided to group up and pick a part of the play they wanted to do. There was the choices of doing sionnach which is the fox, Ulchabhán which is the owl and there was the nathair which is when the mouse meets the snake. I Am The Number One

On Wednesday the 21st of December all of the school gathered in the hall to watch the Fifth Class play and the raffle. Every year we do a raffle but this year was different because the Fifth Class play was before it. The play was called “I AM THE NUMBER ONE”. There was also dancers this year. They were amazing. Christmas with Difi

As part of the Erasmus Plus project, 5thclass were asked to show children in Denmark, Finland and Italy how we celebrate Christmas in Ireland. We decided to do a PowerPoint presentation to do this. We used DIFI to help us. We created the PowerPoint using pictures, text, video and voice recordings. We took pictures of DIFI and included them in the PowerPoint. Some children took DIFI to visit Santa Claus and others brought him baking in the school kitchen. DIFI helped us put up a Christmas tree and decorations in school and to post our letters to Santa. Gingerbread Men

Ms. Canavan’s 5th class took part in the Erasmus Plus Difi program. We were asked to bake with Difi and it was a lots of fun. We baked cookies. There were sleighs, Christmas trees, stars and Christmas stocking biscuits. Difi came along to help. The gingerbread biscuits were YUM!
