The 28th of December is my friend David’s birthday he planned a trip and invited me and another friend Darren. I left my house at 11:45 to go and knock for Darren he got fully ready and we left for David’s house. We sat down for a while and had a laugh and then we left to go on the trip. The first place we went was Base, we played arcade games and then we played laser tag. We played laser tag for about half an hour and we left laser tag to do bowling. David won but I came second. We took pictures in the forest. It felt like a horror movie in the forest. Although it was wet and windy, we still enjoyed it. Ms Canavan, Ms .Maye, Ms. Murphy and Mr. Mac Liam enjoyed it too .We had to cross bridges and...

An Garbhán

An Garbhán

Ms Canavan’s 5th class decided to do the gruffalo play in their Gaeilge lesson. Each pupil got a part in the An Garbhán play. Each pupil decided to group up and pick a part of the play they wanted to do. There was the choices of doing sionnach which is the fox, Ulchabhán which is the owl and there was the nathair which is when the mouse meets the snake. Here are a few Irish words we have learned while doing this play.”Garbhán? Saghas éigin amadáin, an ea?” “Amadán? An Garbhán? Ní hea, ní hea!” “ Tá dhá shúil bhuí ann, teanga dhubh ghránna agus...
