On Tuesday the 26th of March six children from our school went to St. Marks school to participating in bringing the virtual reality into the 21st Century. We walked to their school because it was only around the corner from our school. When we got their we listened to a choir and a band. Maths Eyes

  In January 2019 we went to Sean Walsh park and we did a maths eyes sheet. We had to look around the park to find answers for the sheet. It was freezing outside. We walk around by Tallaght Stadium because it was really icy if we were to walk through the farm. We would have been freezing. When we got there we had to put on our maths eyes and one of the question’s was to find a pyramid in the sky which was the top of the square. 5th Class Trip to Santry

On Wednesday the 14th of November the whole of 5th class went to Santry in North Dublin. We left Tallaght at 9;30 and arrived around 10 past 10. On the bus I sat beside Makenzie behind us was Ryan and Lucy and in front of us was Kian and Katy. We all were so excited to go to Santry and run our last mile. Engineers Week 2019

Engineers Week has been in full swing at the Sacred Heart Senior School. All classes have been busy designing and building different engineering projects. Children in both 5th and 6th classes have taken part in engineering workshops at the Tallaght stadium. These activities were part of South Dublin County Council’s programme for Engineers week. At school the children have been very busy making ‘Wigglebots’ , ‘Paper bridges’ and ‘Spaghetti and Marshmallow Towers’ .
