After our amazing remote STEM sa bhaile week, Ms Golding  created a super video which captures the week. ( see our twitter or school story on dojo for this). Science Week 2019

Science Week 2019

We had a great week celebrating Science Week with lots of activities taking place during the week. Patrick Hunt from Heritage in schools came in and worked with children in 5th class. The children learned all about the importance of trees. The theme of this year’s Science Week was climate action and climate change. Children from all grades were busy working on science experiments and learning about some very famous scientists. In Mr. Maguires class, we have been painting T-Shirts. some of us decided to paint the Irish rugby jersey to support Ireland in the world cup in Japan. Bringing virtual reality into the 21st c...

On Tuesday the 26th of March six children from our school went to St. Marks school to participating in bringing the virtual reality into the 21st Century. We walked to their school because it was only around the corner from our school. When we got their we listened to a choir and a band. We listened to a few speeches’ even MR O’Leary our old principal was there.  When the speeches were over we got a bag of sweets and a few people came around with VR headsets.
