5th Class Trip to Santry

5th Class Trip to Santry

On Wednesday the 14th of November the whole of 5th class went to Santry in North Dublin. We left Tallaght at 9;30 and arrived around 10 past 10. On the bus I sat beside Makenzie behind us was Ryan and Lucy and in front of us was Kian and Katy. We all were so excited to go to Santry and run our last mile. The minute we got there we all get our seats got our t shirts and then we were the first ones called we all wore black t shirts. We all got down to where the start was and then we heard the whistle and off we went. The first bit it was ok but then we were going over small hills and then when we were approaching the track we had 350 meters left. When I got on the track I was so excited to get to the end the whole school did great and we all did our best. When you get to the track you just think come on only a bit left so our whole 5th and 6th class ran. I seen a lot of my friends along the way and I cheered them on. When you finished you would get a medal off David Gillick. At the end you would get a bottle of water and then you would go back to your seat and eat your lunch. About a half an hour later our whole school was done so we waited for the buses to come back then we got on them and left. On the way I fell asleep but there was only a bit left of school when we got back so we were fine. We all had a great day and we were all wreaked but when we all got back we got a half an hour break.
